We're looking for an Executive Assistant to join the Somewear team at our Chicago office! In this role, you will provide high-level administrative support to our CEO and CTO, ensuring efficient and effective operations. We are looking for a resourceful, detail-oriented individual with experience in a start-up environment who can thrive in a fast-paced setting. "Recently, the United States Air National Guard 131st Rescue Squadron successfully employed Somewear’s unique ATAK integration to coordinate and monitor a civilian rescue operation 1,200 miles off the U.S. Pacific coast. The consistent communications and situational awareness across rescue personnel, medical personnel, aircrafts, and the operations center led to an efficient rescue mission that took half of the expected time to complete."

What you’ll do:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to two executives, including inbox management, calendar management, travel arrangements, and meeting coordination.

  • Provide admin support in our Chicago office including ordering office and kitchen supplies, scheduling office cleanings, welcoming external guests for meetings (i.e. customers, advisors, and interviewees).

  • Plan and help execute biannual company offsite.

  • Schedule and help plan quarterly board meetings and quarterly internal leadership meetings.

  • Manage HR requests including questions regarding payroll, benefits, and expense reimbursements.

  • Manage employee onboarding including granting system access, ordering laptops and office supplies, and scheduling onboarding sessions.

  • Manage all legal requests including NDAs, employment letters, and reseller agreements to ensure they are reviewed and executed in a timely manner.

  • Organize internal company drive and company intranet to ensure centralized document and information repositories.

We’re looking for someone that:

  • Has 3-5 years of related experience, preferably in high-growth environments.

  • Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize a diverse workload. You can keep track of multiple complex projects at once.

  • Extreme detail-orientation. You triple-check your work and sweat the details.

  • Handle confidential information with absolute discretion and professionalism.

  • Team player mentality. You are eager to support the team.

  • Possess exceptional problem-solving skills and are comfortable interacting with all levels.

  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal. Able to distill complex information quickly.
