We’re seeking a mission-driven Capture Manager to lead go-to-market and growth efforts across the expanding unmanned systems (UxS) landscape — including air, ground, maritime, and hybrid platforms. This role requires a deep understanding of the defense autonomy ecosystem and the ability to position Somewear’s communications, control, and telemetry solutions within key programs and mission sets.

What You’ll Do

• Identify and capture unmanned systems opportunities across DoD, SOF, International, State/Local and Federal customers

• Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders within unmanned acquisition offices, integrators, and OEMs

• Identify customer needs across platform architectures and CONOPs and guide how Somewear’s capabilities should be positioned to meet SWaP-C, DDIL, and MOSA requirements

• Shape and influence efforts in UxS and emerging C2ISR programs

• Lead teaming, pricing, and strategy for proposals in collaboration with internal teams

• Lead cross-functional orchestration across Mission Ops, Sales Engineering, Product, and Engineering to execute capture strategy and advance opportunities

• Coordinate exercises, demos, and field evaluations with Mission Ops, connecting program offices to end users to support capture strategy

• Maintain situational awareness on budgets, timelines, threat matrices, and capability gaps

We’re Looking for Someone Who

• 5+ years experience in capture, BD, or sales within defense, autonomy, or comms systems

• Familiarity with unmanned platforms (UAS, UGV, USV, etc.), mission payloads, and autonomy stacks

• Understanding of procurement pathways: SBIR, OTA, IDIQ, and mission programmatic funding

• Technical fluency to bridge product conversations with acquisition and operational audiences

• Prior experience working with or supporting unmanned systems programs in DoD, SOF, or IC communities preferred
