Role:

We are looking for our first full-time Product Designer. Your role is to design the interface for the future of research. This is a full-stack design/UX job, including the following responsibilities:

• Own the user experience vision of the whole company
• Conduct user research via interviews and surveys
• Ideate features to meet our users’ needs
• Build wireframes and prototypes for experimentation
• Develop beautiful high-fidelity UI to implement with Engineering team
• Define the Consensus design system
• Contribute to the overall vision and strategy of Consensus

What you bring:

• 4+ years in a design/UX role, preferably some at a startup
• Full-stack design skills, from ideation, to prototyping, to high-fidelity designs
• You are a systems thinker
• You are obsessed with making products simpler and easier
• No design detail is too small for you. You see every pixel
• But you also know how to prioritize at a startup. You are more interested in execution than strict process
• You are a great team player

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience/interest in LLMs and AI
• Experience/interest in scientific research
• Familiarity with frontend engineering fundamentals
• Marketing skills

Compensation:

• Salary: $100k-170k
• Equity: 0.1-0.5%
