About this Role:
As a Station Technician at BRINC, you will directly contribute to BRINC's mission of supporting first responders while working at the intersection of advanced electronics and precision manufacturing. You will leverage your expertise in product assembly and troubleshooting to ensure the highest quality standards are achieved for every DFR station we build. You will work directly with first responders to maintain and repair critical DFR equipment, ensuring they are able to operate life-saving missions 24/7. This role is based out of Seattle with the Station technician traveling to customer locations for repair and maintenance
The ideal candidate has experience in networking, electromechanical assembly, and handling/installing electronics.
This role requires up to a 50% travel commitment to engage with customers on-site for equipment repair and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:

Product Assembly:
Work directly with advanced electronics, electromechanical assemblies, harnessing, and sheet metal assemblies to produce DFR stations.
Fabricate and assemble components using schematics, diagrams and written instructions.
Perform soldering, wire/cable splicing and cable installation.

Testing, Troubleshooting & Quality Assurance:
Conduct thorough testing to ensure the product meets stringent quality requirements.
Ensure all builds meet established quality standards and specifications.

Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of assembly processes, testing results, repairs and any modifications.
Read and provide consistent feedback on assembly work instructions and customer repair manuals.

Customer Collaboration:
Travel to customer sites in varying weather conditions to repair and maintain BRINC hardware and software.
Proactively engage with customers to understand their needs, provide timely service, and address any issues or concerns during implementation.
Work with internal stakeholders to troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
Qualifications:
3+ years experience in the manufacturing/repair field with emphasis on large, complex electromechanical assemblies.
Ability to understand and utilize work instructions and technical manuals.
Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently.
Strong communication skills, ideally with prior experience interacting with external customers.
Ability to use hand and power tools.
Ability to use diagnostic tools.
Ability to lift up to 49lbs.
Ability to sit, stand or be on your feet for extended periods of time.
Experience performing product repairs on-site with customers.
Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Willing to travel 50% of the time.
Preferred Skills
Bachelor’s degree in avionics, electronics, or related field; or extensive relevant experience.
Experience manufacturing UAV/UAS systems or infrastructure for commercial, industrial, or defense applications.
Experience with networking equipment.
Expertise in soldering, troubleshooting and using testing equipment.
Understanding of quality control processes and documentation.

Wage: $80,000 - $90,000
Should you receive an offer, please expect that wages may fall anywhere within this range. A multitude of factors will determine a fair wage based on scope of role within the organization, years of relevant experience, specific skills, and evaluation of capability to execute in role successfully (among other critical factors).
