About this Role:
BRINC is seeking a dynamic and proactive person to fill the role of Project Manager, DFR Implementation to manage the overall implementation of our Drone as a First Responder (DFR) solution. This “remote” role (strong preference for a candidate residing in the Central or East Coast area of the US) interacts with a customer upon a sales booking and manages the customers’ program rollout from onboarding to live.
The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, experience in managing complex projects, be FAA sUAS 107 certified, & have First Responder operational drone experience or significant nuanced experience in the public safety sector. This role requires at minimum a 50% travel commitment to engage with customers on-site, prior to, during and post implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
Planning, managing and rollout of BRINC’s DFR ecosystem
Develop project plans, define milestones, manage timelines for the deployment and scaling of BRINC’s DFR & other solutions
Develop and maintain strong relationships with our customers in the public safety sector to drive customer success and satisfaction.
Proactively engage with customers to understand their needs, provide timely service, and address any issues or concerns during implementation.
Schedule and conduct ongoing meetings, track performance & provide feedback to both customers and internal stakeholders
Work closely with BRINC teams to advocate for customer needs and drive product enhancements based on customer feedback.
Travel to customer sites to include, leading customer meetings, site surveys, Air Traffic Control meetings, FAA Waiver coordination, Implementation & Live Rollout
Act as a liaison between external partners, public safety agencies, drone operators, technology vendors, and regulatory bodies, ensuring alignment and compliance with all relevant guidelines and standards
Identify potential risks in the deployment of drones, including legal, technical, and operational challenges, recommending mitigation strategies
Ensure the project complies with building codes, aviation, safety, and data privacy regulations, coordinating with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and other regulatory authorities.
Stay informed of the latest advancements in drone technology & FAA Rules and Regulations
Qualifications

Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive actionable insights
Knowledge of Google Earth mapping functionality or similar software
Knowledge of the Google Office Automation suite or similar software
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, and in office the remainder 50%
Ability to independently book and manage all aspects of travel, including flights, accommodations, ground transportation, and itineraries.
Ability to safely climb and work from ladders at various heights, as needed for the role.
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects of varying weights, as required for the role.
Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Preferred Skills
Prior Law Enforcement Experience
FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certification
Operational Experience with DFR and/or Public Safety Drone Programs
Operational experience as a First Responder or Public Safety Sector
Technical Proficiency in Drone Hardware and Software
Computer & Networking knowledge with the ability to communicate requirements with CIOs, IT Leaders, etc
Knowledge of the FAA Waiver Process

Salary: $99,000 - $121,000
Should you receive an offer, please expect that it can fall anywhere within this range. A multitude of factors will determine a fair salary based on scope of role within the organization, years of relevant experience, specific skills, and evaluation of capability to execute in role successfully (among other critical factors).
