This full time position will perform the following duties supporting these work centers:
Manufacturing
- Assembly
- Build OneTrack sensors and service install items as determined by customer demand and schedules
- Write or update manufacturing and test procedures.
- Build proto-types per instructions
- Update manufacturing records in appropriate spreadsheets and databases
- Operate 3D printers daily
- Product Returns / Dis-assembly
- Coordinate efforts with Field Service and Engineering to evaluate sensors returned from the field
- Repair, rebuild, update all returned units that are determined to be repairable
- Disassemble faulty or scrap units and dispose or recycle components
- Update service records in appropriate spreadsheets and databases
Inventory / Warehouse
- Inventory
- Maintain inventory in proper bins for storage
- Cycle count to verify record accuracy
- Pick orders and note any modifications from quantity picked to quantity needed, for example, shipping more due to standard package size
- Review list of material on hand compared to material needed for current order and notify Purchasing to re-order stock as needed
- Review floor stock items and notify Purchasing when re-order is needed
- Practice FIFO (first in / first out) methodology
Shipping / Receiving
- Packing / Shipping
- Pack all shipments in appropriate containers for shipping
- Using shipping company portals (i.e. UPS, Fedex) enter information to ship products completing all forms and arranging product pickups
- Interface with management to approve and / or confirm shipping costs
- Develop methods and processes for streamlined packing and shipping of products.
- Receiving
- Open all packages / containers and inspect product for defects / damage
- Count received materials and verify counts to packing list / order balances
- Store received and accepted material on shelves in labeled bins, organizing material in a FIFO manner
- Breakdown boxes and containers and place in areas for recycling or disposal
Quality
- Inspection
- Visually inspect all manufactured items in line
- Rework or repair all production fallout as required
- Notify engineering or manager of any scrap or damaged materials
- Develop tooling and manufacturing processes that build quality into the product
- Investigate new methods and tooling to build in intrinsic quality processes
Maintenance
- Maintain operation of 3D printers
- Organize and keep the manufacturing, inventory, server room and office areas clean
- Assist in building and installing tables, desks, shelves and other manufacturing and office related furniture
Requirements:
- Work Experience:
- Entry level position, no experience is required.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, engineering or technical role is a plus.
- Previous experience with mechanical assembly, electronics assembly including soldering and cable / connector assembly is a plus.
- Education
- HS Graduate
- Associates Degree or higher in a technical field preferred
