What you will do

• Research product, service, and value capture innovations for Kheyti’s farmers
  

• Engage in the innovation process: Discover -> Define -> Design -> Ideate -> Prototype -> Test -> Iterate -> Finalize -> Implement
  

• Innovate and develop new climate-resilient products and other affordable products/services for farmers
  

• Work with a team of designers, consultants, agronomists and field staff to integrate farmer insights and crop field trials into R&D considerations
  

• Work with supply chain and installation team and greenhouse vendors to optimise cost and design of product
  

• Travel to farms to understand farmer needs and assess product performance
  

• Develop protocols, product manuals, maintenance SOPs & best practices
  

• Ensure quality standards in manufacturing and installation process of the product
  

Ideal persona

Qualifications

• Masters in Product Design / M.tech in Agri Engineering / Mechanical engineering or similar fields
  

• Experience in hardware product development is preferred
  

• Adept with MS office suite
  

• Willing to travel and explore rural India
