Zonal Sales Manager

We are seeking a talented and result-oriented Zonal Sales Manager to join our team. He/She will play a crucial role in Kheyti’s expansion in the assigned region by managing field sales teams with day-to-day operations and field coaching for achieving sales targets.

What you will do

  • Manage and coach our field sales team members to expand and reach more farmers who will benefit from protected cultivation

  • Plan and implement strategies with the support of farmer service and marketing functions to improve sales in the zone

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the field sales teams including installation of greenhouses

  • Coordinate with Sales HQ and other support functions like HR, Accounts, and Data to ensure seamless operations

  • Build strong relationships with dealers, farmer collectives, NGOs, and government officials in the region for B2B sales.

Ideal persona

Requirements

  • At least 2 years in managing people

  • 3 Years of experience in rural areas preferably in customer facing roles

  • VERY strong communication skills

  • Willing to travel at least 15 days a month in rural india

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to understand CRM systems (Zoho)

Qualities

  • Mission-driven: excited about making a difference in the lives of smallholder farmers in the age of climate change.

  • Flexibility to work in a dynamic, often resource-constrained environment, and the ability to wear multiple hats as needed.

  • Biased towards action and comfortable with learning from mistakes

  • Willingness to travel and work from rural India at least 10 days a month.
