Work at a Startup

We’re looking for an experienced software engineer who embraces the breadth of responsibilities that come with a senior full-stack role. You’ll collect and prioritize feedback directly from customers, figure out the best way to solve their problems, and drive the work to get it done.

We’d never say something like “deep cross-functional impact” out loud, but our CEO does routinely ship code and our UI engineer is currently editing this job posting, so draw your own conclusions there. We highly value the ability to step up and solve the problem at hand with an entrepreneurial spirit, a designer's eye for detail, and the rigor of an engineer whose cell number is saved in PagerDuty.

In practical terms, we want you to help with:

• Building and collaborating on the launch of Frigade's AI-powered user assistance.
• Leveling up the network/data layer that feeds our React SDK.
• Building out and refining the functionality of our web app.
• Meaningfully contributing to Frigade’s vision and strategy.
• Working directly with our growing list of enterprise and mid-market customers to triage bugs, interpret feedback, and ship improvements.

Need to have:

• Proficiency with TypeScript, React, and Node.js
• Strong grasp of modern web development practices
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Team player who values shared success and collective growth

Nice to have:

• Handiness with the tools in our stack (Next.js, AWS, Docker, Postgres) or their equivalents
• Passion for developer tools and ecosystems
• Experience building with LLMs and custom RAG pipelines
• Previous tours of duty at startups
