About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Lead to transform Fay's RCM function and drive significant improvements in our claims success rates. This is a high-impact role where you'll build scalable systems from the ground up, leverage data-driven insights to optimize our billing processes, and play a critical role in our company's growth trajectory.
What You'll Do
- Transform RCM Operations: Lead the development of a systematized and scalable approach to revenue cycle management, significantly increasing claims success rates across key payer and state combinations
- Drive Process Optimization: Reduce unnecessary iterations in the billing process by quickly identifying root causes of denials and implementing pattern recognition solutions
- Build Data-Driven Systems: Assess and analyze internal data to identify opportunities for insurance revenue collection improvements and determine strategy for accelerating progress against key commercial KPIs
- Automate Workflows: Build and maintain automated workflows to streamline processes, either independently or in collaboration with our Engineering team to develop high-value platform features
- Monitor Performance: Own and monitor metrics that track the health of our Insurance Operations, proactively identifying and resolving process issues
- Scale Operations: Design and implement systems that will support Fay's long-term growth while ensuring compliance and operational efficiency
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders to deliver a seamless, high-quality experience across the entire RCM lifecycle
Who You Are
Required Experience:
- 6+ years of experience, including 2+ years of hands-on Revenue Cycle Management experience at a venture backed startup
- Proven track record of building revenue cycle functions from minimal infrastructure into best-in-class systems at a high-growth company
- Demonstrated success in resolving claims rate issues and payer-related challenges
- Previous experience in consulting or banking preferred
