As an Implementation Consultant, you will lead the successful deployment of ECI’s Manufacturing Software Solution, JobBoss², for new customers and provide ongoing consulting support. You will serve as a trusted advisor, ensuring customers achieve value from their software investment through effective implementation, process alignment, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for customers during implementation.
  • Lead discovery sessions to understand and document:
    • Current and future business objectives
    • Process and system gaps (fit-gap analysis)
    • Reporting and data analytics requirements
  • Plan and execute software implementations, ensuring alignment with scope, timeline, and budget.
  • Apply ECI’s implementation methodology, including:
    • Requirements gathering through process analysis
    • Solution design and system configuration
    • Fit-gap analysis and workflow optimization
    • Pre-implementation testing and validation
    • User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
    • Data migration strategy and data preparation guidance
    • Go-live planning, execution, and post-go-live support
  • Translate complex business requirements into scalable system solutions.
  • Design and recommend improved business processes aligned with system capabilities.
  • Track and report on project progress, deliverables, and consulting activities.
  • Ensure accurate time tracking and project documentation.
  • Proactively identify risks, issues, and escalations, and collaborate with project leadership to resolve them.
Skills & Competencies

  • Working knowledge of ERP systems and business software implementations
  • Understanding of business processes across manufacturing, operations, distribution, and finance
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, user-friendly communication
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills across diverse stakeholder groups
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to travel up to 60% or more

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a related field
  • 1–3+ years of experience in software implementation, consulting, or a related role

Preferred

  • Master’s degree in a relevant discipline
  • Experience with ERP systems
